More companies are requiring calibration and certification of all production equipment. The Watt Meter will provide this certification as well as preventing the loss of product though improper cleaning.

Up to 4 individual Ultrasonic or Mega Sonic tanks can be monitored at one time, A software controlled relay will shut down any tank that exceeds its set point.

The Ultra / Mega Sonic Watt meter and controller consists of a digital meter, up to 4 individual sensors and computer software that allows the complete monitoring of the generator output.  The generator outputs are connected to a sensor module and then to the generator. The sensor displays the Peak, Average and Reflected power on the LCD meter face. A built in relay can control or send and output signal  to an alarm or to a relay to shut off the Mega Sonic unit or to sound an alarm. The sensor relays the information to the Watt Meter and to an output [BNC] connector for an Oscilloscope. Up to 4 individual generators can be monitored using one Watt Meter.

The Information is also displayed on the watt meters own software via a USB connection installed in a laptop or other computer.

The generator can be easily calibrated by using the watt meter and its own software alone or in combination with an Oscilloscope. 

An output port on the Watt Meter sends a signal to a relay that can be used to either sound an alarm or turn off any generator that exhibits a high or low power output. The Watt Meter software has a number of screens that display the peak and average power output of the generator.  The data can be saved and used with other programs, such as spread sheet or math cad software. Additionally the watt meter displays the reflected power present in the cable. Increasing reflected power indicates a problem with the transducers or the generator.

Each sensor has 2 additional BNC connectors for a PC based oscilloscope that will display the wave forms for Volts, Amps and Frequency on its software. This is invaluable for analyzing and tuning the phase of the generator. Several types of PC scopes are available for use with the WM-2008

The TM associates Watt meter offers a NIST calibrated instrument that allows up to 4 different Mega Sonic tanks to be calibrated and monitored at an exceedingly reasonable cost. 

When used with our L-2001-4MS probe system the combination of the 2 instruments allows complete monitoring and evaluation both of the generator power and the expressed power in the Mega Sonic bath. The WM-2008-P Watt meter has one of the 4 sensor ports dedicated and specially adapted to allow the connection of our L-2001 ultrasonic probe. The probe will read the direct watts in the actual cleaning fluid of the ultrasonic or megasonic tank and display that result on a Bargraph and on the Digital Meter. The probe can also be used with the Oscilloscope as a stand alone instrument for displaying wave form, frequency, and spectral analysis of the actual tank power .

With the combination of the watt meter and the probe you can compare the power output of the generator with the actual power in the tank. This combination gives you a compete tool for the analysis of any ultrasonic or mega sonic process.

 The  DSO2300 is an intelligent 8-bit two-channel PC-based USB digital storage oscilloscope. It runs on any PC equipped with USB1.1 or USB2.0 using Windows 98/2000/XP. The USB cable provided also supplies power to the unit, so no external power supply is needed. It has up to 100 Ms/s real-time sampling rate and 50MHz bandwidth. The device combines the functions of a frequency spectrum analyzer, waveform recorder, signal generator, cymometer, voltmeter, acoustic analysis graphic instrument, mathematical related graphic instrument voltage meter, and digital storage oscilloscope. All these functions are controlled through a point-and-click PC software interface.     *  The Handyscope HS3 is a powerful computer controlled measuring instrument that consists of four measuring instruments: a Multimeter, an Oscilloscope, a Spectrum analyzer and a Transient recorder. An AWG is also available. This new powerful and compact measuring instrument can solve almost every measurement problem.

    * The Handyscope HS3 features a user selectable 12 bit, 14 bit or 16 bit resolution (14 bit effective, SNR 95 dB), 200 mV - 80 V full scale input range, 128 Ksamples record length per channel and a sampling frequency up to 100 MHz on both channels (100 MHz only in 8 bit resolution).

    * The integrated AWG operates fully independent from the measuring system of the Handyscope HS3. An intelligent auto setup allows the inexperienced user to perform measurements immediately. The software allows you to save instrument settings on disk. Later these setting files can be recalled, reducing the setup time of your instrument to an absolute minimum.
